Thank you so much for stopping by. I'm Vivienne, and I'm a mother of 2 ( and avid tea drinker!) who is passionate about supporting women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. I'm based just outside of Aberdeen, but can cover the whole of the UK as well as supporting local parents.
Since the birth of my first baby in 2012, I've been supporting parents in a number of ways - as a doula, sling consultant, trained breastfeeding peer supporter, and NCT Aberdeen volunteer. Every contact I have with parents shows me how vital it is to have support in the early days, and what a difference it can make to new families as they transition in to parenthood.
I used Hypnobirthing techniques for the birth of my son, and for the Caesarean birth of my daughter. Hypnobirthing isn't just for those having 'natural' births - the techniques and tools learnt during my courses are effective and empowering for all birth scenarios. Having these tools will help you approach your birth with confidence, no matter what path it may take you on.
I was lucky enough to be trained here in Aberdeen by the wonderful Nicola Nelson, experienced midwife, nurse and Royal College of Midwives accredited rebozo instructor, and I'm proud to be a Compassionate Hypnobirthing teacher. The course I teach is adaptable and flexible, depending on your own unique circumstances. By delivering them one to one in person, or via Skype, it allows me to completely tailor the course to your needs.
